I'm sorry to find that you suffered retaliation for your very sensible
opinion that the American People were being led by misinformation into
an imperial war for the dual priorities of Oil and Israel (not
necessarily in that order!). I'm quite happy to provide a few
paragraphs in support of the notion that 911 is far from being
adequately investigated, let alone explained... Please let me
know if what's below meets your purposes! CPTMAY
911 and Non-investigation
As a former Army officer, my tendancy immediately after 911 was to
rally 'round the colors and defend the country against what I then
thought was an insidious, malicious all-Arab entity called
Al-Qaida. In fact, in April of 2002, I attempted to reactivate my
then-retired commission to return to serve my country in its time of
peril. Those early views of mine have persisted to this very day
-- with one key proviso: I no longer think that Al-Qaida is an
Arab entity!
Like much of the informed world, I have come to think that the American
People have been badly misinformed on the particulars of the 911 Event
that, if considered, would lead them to the kind of fundamental
reexamination of their views, views which have been grafted onto their
consciousness by a seemingly deliberate effort by the US Corporate
Media.
Now I view the 911 Event as Professor David Griffin, author of The New
Pearl Harbor, views it: as a matter that implies either
A) passive participation by the Bush White House through a
deliberate stand-down of proper defense procedures that (if followed)
would have led US air assets to a quick identification and
confrontation of the passenger aircraft that impacted WTC 1 and WTC 2,
or worse...
B) active execution of a plot by rogue elements of government, starting
with the White House itself, in creating a spectacle of destruction
that would lead the United States into an invasion of the Middle East,
an area of great importance geostategically for its oil -- and
important domestically because of the influence of Zionist elements
over the US Corporate Media.
It has been my observation that the more people learn of the forensic
irregularities, the more they come to agree with half the population of
New York City, nearly half of whom -- according to an August 30, 2004
Zogby Poll -- believe one or the other of the two possibilities of
official participation in the 911 Event. (http://www.zogby.com/news/ReadNews.dbm?ID=855)
Ultimately, my mind was swayed by two things: first, contact with
a Marine captain, Jeff Cross, who was a 911 witness, experiencing the
event from five blocks away from the Twin Towers of WTC 1/2; second,
the highly improbable coincidence of the Madrid bombings coming on a
"numeric signature" date: 3/11 (2004). As a few astute
observers have noted (without comment or continuation by the controlled
Corporate Media), there are 911 days between 9/11 (2001) and 3/11, a
notable fact, made all the more notable by the fact that 9/11 and 3/11
are numerically connected in another way: the first numeric
digits. 9 is the square of 3, as 3 is the square root of 9.
Confronted with such amazing, disturbing facts, I fell back on military
training -- and in my case that meant military intelligence, which was
my field in the Army. Marine Captain Cross, like me, had been a
stalwart American warrior, passionately devoted to his country and its
causes, and after long and often inimical (for his claims angered and
confused me), I found nothing in what he said that did him any
good. Indeed, his life had been rocked by the 911 Event, not only
because of what he saw, but because he strove, in the best hard-headed
tradition of his service -- to inform the Corporate Media and the
investigatory agencies handling 911 of his observations and
conclusions. "It just didn't happen the way they reported it," he
told me again and again, explaining that he had merely tried to help by
informing the powers that be of his insights, only to be repressed and
threatened by those same powers.
Further, the numeric coincidences were so unlikely, taken together,
that they argued for cryptoanalytic evaluation -- that is, evaluation
as a potential "code" of events. I reckoned that, while I didn't
attach any significance to the numerics (better to say the numerology)
of the 9/11 and 3/11 Events, others very well might. Secret
societies that many -- if not most -- of the Bush Administration
belonged to, such as the most-influential (and least-examined) Skull
and Bones society, of which both George W. Bush and his father George
H. W. Bush belonged -- and John Kerry, too, for that matter!
Working from these premises, I became more and more convinced --
slowly, unwillingly even, for no loyal military man wants to think the
worst of his country's highest officials -- that the numeric signature
was indeed a code, the exact kind of contrivance with which dark
purposes have always been concealed from the unsuspecting majority.
It has been a year-and-a-half since my intial, disturbing discoveries
of 911 irregularities, and my observations and analyses along the way
have gone from corroboration to confirmation -- at least in my opinion
as a trained intelligence professional. Along the way in my
disturbing intellectual odyssey I have met most astute minds who
believed as I had come to believe, each by a different avenue of
insight. Few followed my particular road to enlightenment, but
all agreed with my conclusion: the 911 Event was in no way
accounted for by the official line!
Keeping an open mind is the beginning of wisdom, and I stand prepared
to reconsider my current view of 911 as a contrived causus belli for
long-cherished imperial goals by the neocons, summed up in their
Project for a New American Century (PNAC) strategic white paper:
Reevaluating America's Defenses (RAD), issued a full year before the
911 Event, shortly before the dubious elevation of George W. Bush to
the White House. I stand prepared to reconsider..., but with
every passing month without a substantial, even adequate, examination
of just what happened on 9/11, I am more convinced that the reason such
an investigation is not forthcoming is that the Bush White House can
not survive it. It would appear that what we call a unique event
is in reality nothing more or less than an Ameican Reichstag Fire.
I extend my compliments and best regards to MUJCA-NET and the 911 truth
movement! Keep asking the tough questions!

I was teaching Arabic at the University of Wisconsin in 2002-2003,
and your stuff on the Battle of Baghdad brings back memories of
watching the battle on al-Jazeera, including the Iraqi ambush at
the airport, and then tuning in US news to see "all Jessica, all
the time." I spoke out in class about the real situation as I saw
it--the invasion was a strategic disaster, the real motive was
Israel, oil and geopolitics, the planning was driven by neocon
ideologues who knew little about the region and what little they
did know came from the Likkud spin machine, the WMD claims were
improbable, and we seemed to be getting nothing but lies from the
government and media. Later that semester four students, all in the
armed forces, marched into my department office and raised a huge stink
about those remarks, which led to me leaving the Arabic program on less
than pleasant terms. I wonder if any of those students have changed
their minds...
Though I strongly support your activities, an email a day is too many
for me--one a week would be better. (That's what I send out to the
MUJCA list.) Packaging the daily stuff into a weekly digest might make
it possible for more over-emailed people to subscribe.
Speaking of MUJCA-NET, if you or your group would like to endorse
MUJCA-NET and/or make a statement on the importance of the 9/11 truth
issue, especially for interfaith relations and US relations with the
Muslim world, we'd love to feature it at mujca.com and link it to your
site. The statement might make that point that regardless of where one
stands on the issue of Bush Administration complicity in 9/11, the
belief in complicity by 89% of Arabs and Muslims (al-Jazeera poll
10/03), 63% of Canadians (Toronto Star 5/04) and half of New Yorkers
(Zogby 8/04), together with the existence of disturbing prima facie
evidence supporting such beliefs, makes it imperative that a full and
impartial investigation of allegations of official complicity be
launched as soon as possible.
