Rick's Reply to L. Neil Smith
After receiving Neil's endorsement, Rick sent the following thank you note.

Thank you so much, L. Neil Smith. Your endorsement is a very great honor, based upon your own battle against a government that refuses to defend the Bill of Rights which each member of that government has sworn an oath to uphold. Your campaign to ensure that government honors that oath to defend the Constitution is absolutely inspiring.

While in Austin, Texas, on March 23, 2002, I had the honor of being the featured guest speaker at one of the many Bill of Rights rallies across America, and after my too-long speech of 45 minutes, I was given a Bill of Rights pin from one of your supporters. I wore it the rest of the day, and it gave me great satisfaction when he told me it was from you.

I am absolutely honored that you have taken notice of my campaign for the U.S. Senate from Colorado, the Bill of Rights rallies across America campaign, and the Million Gun March petition campaign. Each of these campaigns can have an effect to change the U.S. government and its UNCONSTITUTIONAL ways. I hope that your endorsement will mobilize Libertarians across the country to join our combined efforts to secure our birthright of liberty. This birthright was handed down to us by the founding fathers, but an ungrateful America does not understand the continued sacrifices that must be made by every generation of Americans to secure that guarantee of freedom.

For generations our ancestors have not heeded the call to defend our liberty. It now falls upon this generation to secure its place in history as the DEFENDERS OF LIBERTY. We must once again secure those elusive freedoms for all Americans with our own personal sacrifice, as the founding fathers warned us would happen again and again.

I am forwarding this message to the Stanley Scoop as another personal call to freedom, from Rick Stanley and L. Neil Smith. Join us in the struggle to bring this government to its knees, begging for forgiveness for its ongoing efforts to circumvent and ignore the Constitution.

Sincerely,
Rick Stanley
