reviewing stacks of e-mail messages received in the wake
of ongoing terrorist attacks against the United States
and other Western nations, Rick Stanley, Libertarian
candidate for U.S. Senate from Colorado, released the
following statement: "I'd like to take credit for this, but I can't -- it's just something I read on the internet. "I heard one solution today that sounds intriguing. It was an answer to the question of what to do with Osama bin Laden if we get our hands on him. "Killing bin Laden will only create a martyr. And holding him prisoner will inspire his comrades to take hostages and demand his release. "Therefore, I suggest we do neither. "Let the Special Forces, Seals or whomever covertly capture him, fly him to an undisclosed hospital, and have surgeons quickly perform a complete sex change operation. Then return her to Afghanistan to live as a woman under the Taliban." |
